Digital Realty Trust goes East with Singapore Acquisition

Digital Realty Trust have announced the acquisition of a 375,000 sq ft data centre facility located on the International Business Park in the Jurong East district of Singapore, some 10km east of the city’s centre, designed to offer some 30MW of client capacity across 6 floors, with each floor providing 4.5MW on either a dedicated or shared basis. This is DLR’s first foray into the Asian market.
Colo-X comment: An important first step eastwards for Digital Realty Trust, adding some 20% of new capacity to the local market which is now around 200,000 sq m in total.
